While the website has been relatively inactive, we have slowly been making progress with the wedding planning. Corrie went to Charlottesville in May to meet with florists, photographers, the wedding coordinator, the chaplain, and to have the first fitting. During the visit, the parents had their first meeting, and two of the three bridemaids met each other for the first time. Andy couldn’t get away this time, but we are planning another trip to Virginia in August for food and cake tasting and to coordinate with the chaplain.

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Farmington Country Club on Friday, December 22nd, 2006. FCC is close to the University, and like all good things in and around Charlottesville, has a tie to Mr. Jefferson. The ceremony will take place in the Jefferson Room, an octagonally shaped room that was designed by Mr. Jefferson and built in 1803 (a few years older than the University). George Divers was the original owner of the residence and a friend of Mr. Jefferson.
